This “second generation” iteration of the e-cigarette and got its name of vape pen due to the pen like shape that it has.

These models are larger and a bit heavier than the mini variant due to more and higher quality components. Additionally a lot of vape pens have a manual battery which entails you pushing a button to activate the heating mechanism.
